Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Brain3 regarding your use of the Nolawi mobile application and this Support Center website. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Nolawi provides tools that help Spiritual Fathers and Spiritual Children coordinate pastoral care-such as appointments, check-ins, tasks, messaging, resources, notifications, and optional AI-assisted guidance. Features may vary by role and may change as we improve the product.

3. Not medical, legal, or sacramental advice

Nolawi is a technology platform for community and pastoral coordination. It does not replace confession, spiritual direction in person, medical care, mental-health treatment, emergency services, or legal advice. The Spiritual AI Assistant offers informational support only and is not a priest, therapist, or crisis hotline.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. For pastoral crises, reach your Spiritual Father or church leadership directly.

4. Accounts & eligibility

• You must provide accurate registration information.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
• You must be legally able to form a binding contract and to use the app under the rules of your jurisdiction and parish.
• Spiritual Father, Bishop, and similar roles may require additional verification or parish affiliation as we implement.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, or exploit other users
• Impersonate clergy or other persons
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
• Attempt to break security, scrape, or reverse engineer the app
• Use the service for spam or commercial solicitation unrelated to pastoral care

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put users at risk.

6. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit (messages, notes, profile text, photos). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate Nolawi for you and the users you are connected with. You are responsible for content you share with others in the app.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. By using Nolawi, you acknowledge that policy.

8. Fees

Nolawi does not currently charge in-app subscriptions through the App Store. If we introduce paid features later, pricing and renewal terms will be disclosed in the app and on the App Store product page before you are charged.

9. Intellectual property

The Nolawi name, logos, app design, and software are owned by Brain3 or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute them except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRAIN3 AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF NOLAWI. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

12. Termination

You may stop using Nolawi and delete your account at any time (see Delete Account). We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
